What is PDF metadata?

PDF metadata is information about your document like title, author, subject, keywords, creation date, and the software that created it. This information helps organize and identify documents but doesn't affect the visible content.

Can I apply the same metadata to multiple files?

What happens to fields I leave blank?

If 'Clear Empty Fields' is enabled (default), blank fields will be removed from the PDF. If disabled, the original values will be preserved for fields you don't fill in.

Can I change creation and modification dates?

Yes, you can edit both creation date and modification date. Leave them blank to remove date information, or use 'Preserve Original Dates' setting to keep existing dates unchanged.

What is the Producer field?

The Producer field indicates the software used to create or last modify the PDF. By default we set it to 'PDFyogi.com' but you can change it to anything you want.
